As a friend of a couple of org artists, I am a little disturbed that the great talents of the org are not being recognized, and not being heard. A lot of you bashed The Cloud 9 Mission for sending you updates about his music, and criticized him when he made an honest mistake and sent multiple e-mails telling about his club. Then, he posts great download links and asks you all for your opinion and support, and you ignore him. It's not like he asks you for money. Then, there is Jason Dodson. I grew up with him and played bass in his Prince inspired band, "Jimmy Nothing", for quite some time. He is a very positive cat with a sexy vibe, and he also offers you free music and asks for your love and support, and he gets no appreciation.


GIVE UP SOME LOVE, Y'ALL, LISTEN AND APPRECIATE YOUR HOME GROWN TALENT. IT IS RARE.

Cloud9 Mission has gotten many compliments from Org members, and as far as jason we just love him..

Anyway as Shorty would say "that's just me"

i don't feel that i'm underappreciated. i'm one of the lesser-known artists here on the .org 2, but i still can feel the love.

purple here, and I would like to say that the people of the org are rude, fake and have no love for music I have been a prince fan for 20 years and a guitar player and the assholes on the org have been assholes for however long there current lifespan is.they never speak of prince no one plays any instruments and some may say they do but I never hear any music or even a single note.they got nerve to bag on cloud 9 hes a good creative muscian those fools on the org couldnt make a tune if there lives depended on it.I personally have sent my mp3 to some org fools and they never reply or critique all though some of them may now since I posted this but thats just there style.does the word jackassary mean anything? p.s. and if they say they play ask them a musical question they never know the answer.

..there are people here who don't listen to any other artists besides prince...don't take it personally...

People here outta listen to something other than Prince...just because Prince didn't actually "produce" our work, doesn't mean he didn't influence it. There are many artists that are influenced by him that many Prince fams listen to.

We love the "The ORG's" musicians here at NewPowerRadio. We actually encourage all the artists to send us their MP3's and we will put them in our playlist so U can listen.

First off, it's great that so much talent is flowing...
Nobody can contend that.
Whether it's of your own liking or not - that's another thing.

I appreciate that the prince.org forum allows for others to share their creations (at least post a message regarding it) - you never know when there will be a link to something new that you may connect with and otherwise may never hear.

That being said, it is annoying to see blatant self-promoting posts over and over again.

If you have web content that you think people here would be interested in - post once and ask the org to include you in their links.
If it is a special event - submit it to the events or news (whatever works best).
Your own web forum would be a more appropriate place to receive feedback.

Weekly updates of other sites being cross-posted here - just my opinion, but either people will visit your site or you have nothing of real value for them and they won't.

For those who abuse posting in this manner, please just keep the link to your signature.
