INTRODUCTION TO THEOLOGY OF PRINCE

I am writing a mock university course syllabus title as noted above. The focus of the course will be to study the evolution of Prince the musician with an emphasis on his writing. Specifically, all things go through cycles of birth, growth/development, plateau, death and rebirth and Prince has had a career spanning more than two decades as an almost master of every creative arena he involved himself in. As a musician, Prince may have had to go through a similar cycle of reinvention as an artist and in particular in the musical directions he eventually laid tracks for and sold millions of records. I am convinced there is a code behind everything that Prince has done from the beginning of his career up to this very moment and the code lays in the music he writes. So the purpose of the course is to "decode" his music and uncover the real messaging beyond the overtly carnal, sensuous and at times religious sentiments** that are so obvious to the typical listener. Well, as skilled and veteran subject matter experts on the subject of "Prince" the musician", Can you go beyond the lyrics and "decode" his messaging in relation to the lifecycle? Give the title, album and year (for the not so expert) and attempt your decode or interpret the messaging and significance in the lifecyle.
**his music means different things to everyone, this is meant to be objective observation. Personally, he is the only musician I could literally listen to for hours on end while having an eight course seduction running in the background...notice the music is in the foreground. razz
