To my overly-critical fans:

“Look people, mind your damn business. I could careless what you think of me that's why "I" do what "I" want, not what "you" want me to do. Some of you talk about me in a bad way, but yet you call urselves "Prince" fans, but you're more like "Prince" haters. You b**** about everything I do, but yet you whine and cry about "where's Prince's next performance and will I invite you?" This question coming mostly from those who talk about me in that "bad" way all the time, and you’re the same ones that demand to see me perform the most, so this is more directed at you.

You criticize me if I don't perform songs you like or perform the way "you like" instead of appreciating what and how I want to perform it "for you". You have the nerve to tell me who I should associate with or perform with, like you own me, well you don’t, so you could whine and b**** about my protégé if you want to, but I don’t give a d***, she’s a beautiful person and singer, and if you don’t like it, then keep losing your d*** sleep, because you or no one else will dictate to me who I should perform or associate with. So you could keep wasting your time complaining, whining, and b***** until the cows come home and roosters roost, because I’ll just be laughing at you using all your energy on the forums talking about me.

Funny though, because as soon as you find out I may be performing somewhere else, then all of a sudden you "play nice" again, as though I forgot all the nasty remarks you've made, well I'm not buying that kind of phony behavior, you know who you are. Do you think you really deserve to be invited to any of the special performances I have in the future with the way you talk about me? One minute you love me, then you hate me. Make up your mind, you can’t have it both ways.

It’s like you rely on my daily life to know what I’m doing, where I’m going, what I’m wearing, who I’m sleeping with, am I lonely, broke or sad? How I comb my hair, what kind of food I eat, how many times a day I go to the bathroom, and yada, yada, yada. Besides, you talk all that s*** but you know you will be the first one banging on the door to get a ticket to see me perform, and the first one to cry, stomping and b***** when you lose out on getting one.

I appreciate and respect the fans that have stood by me all these years who value what I bring forth musically. I don't expect everyone to like all the songs and performances I do, that would be unrealistic, but at least appreciate that when I come out to perform, I do it "for you", but I do it “my way “ and that’s the way it is.

Listen man, with that being said, if you’re really a fan of mine, then act like it, because I didn’t sign a contract to be your “SLAVE” and have to answer to you about my whereabouts, personal life or require your d*** permission as to who I should associate or perform with, so either you take it or leave it, because it’s about the music and that’s it, enough said!

And if he is, only proves that he is human. Which is less than some of the hateful sentiment that I've been reading through from topic to topic.
