Being that we're all fans of Prince and his music, has anyone had the ultimate
experience of actually meeting Prince or being in the same room with him or anyone from his entourage like Wendy&Lisa, Shelia E., Morris Day or etc? Was he or his people cool or total assholes? Please tell your stories about your encounters with them, like was it a pleasant experience or etc.

i dont wanna meet anyone who is surrounded by bodyguards. such an experience would be an offence to my spirit. a 'date with prince and his bodyguards' is hardly a date. more like a superficial public wank session.

we are not all fans

Although Prince is his biggest fan, several others who work around him that surf here are employies not fans. Some of his old friends that sure here are jilted friends, not fans.

There are about 8-11 clasiphications of people here that can't be put into the "fan" catagory. They won't be telling you anything.

I used to want to meet him but I don't anymore...in case hes an arsehole. Just because I like his work doesn't mean I'd like him as a person. Same goes for Prince

I met him at the Celebration...I was one of the lucky few to get a premier of the Rainbow Children album with Kevin Smith, then a 2+ hour conversation w/Prince and a few fans and while he was sitting on his Symbol piano in the Atrium at Paisley Park. Very cool....before then I met him on an airplane from Hawaii (Northwest Flight) he was with Mayte...Yes I've been lucky.

earlier that day my friend and I talked to Michal B. for 10 minutes just 1 hour or 2 before the concert startet - Michael B. was standing next to us listening and watching to the warm-up-group

and (i mentioned this 2 or 3 times in the org) one of my longtime friends was his personal bus-driver for the ona-tour through europe - i think only a handfull people in here have been so close to him for such a long time - and my friend often tells me how nice and friendly p has been all the time!!

yes, I have a number of times

and they were all cool encounters in their own and unique way.

needless to say - I couldnt catch up

I followed his tourbus after a concert once,and once it reached its destination,no one ever got off of it. I sat and sat and sat,and it was freezing cold.I eventually had 2 use the restroom so badly that I had 2 just give up and leave!Stalking doesn't pay off!! But it was fun,tho..
