Just noticed that Ultimate is available in full on iTunes for $17.99, or 99c a track, just in case anyone wants the individual tracks instead of the whole album.

Hmmm. I posted my comments in the WB thread from the homepage, but I think they belong here. Thanks for the iTunes info. I like having the pictures though.
Well here are my I purchased the Ultimate at BestBuy here in Chicago where it cost $22.99. No one could tell me why it was six dollars more than the online price. Like the sucker I am, I purchased it anyway. I do feel that Warner could have put together a better compilation. They are clearly going to milk the Prince cow for all they can get. Like Bob Marley and other greats, 30 years from now Warner will be releasing comps with "previously unreleased" tracks on them. Since I failed to purchase some of the 12 inches when they were intially released, I was excited to hear the ones I didn't own. I am thrilled to have the film version of "Let's Go Crazy" because I have always wanted that version. Also, I can't stop listening to the remix of "Little Red Corvette." I already had most of the others (Kiss, Thieves, She's Always...) whether officially or bootlegged, and anything else besides "Pop Life" and "Let's Work" wasn't much to write home about. The remix of "Cream" is a waste of space. Oh, and disc one is a joke/insult for the hardcore fan, but I guess it serves its purpose for the casual P fan. perfection is a fallacy of the imagination...
