So, I just bought Chaos and Disorder 10 years late...

and I really like some of the tracks. Dinner with Delores and Zannalee are memorable, and Same December is very cool. I like his use of guitar on this album. What I think is kinda bogus is the insert! The photos are so moody, it's not even funny! Blood, needels, fire, a toilet with something nasty in it... It was a little much for me. Oh well, at least I got my 3 bucks worth.

I can't even find this one in the music shops. I'll probably have to get a copy on the net! By the way, is it any good? Does it somewhat compares to The Gold Experience due to its rock stylings?

not really. but it's still a great album, which would have been an
absolute classic had it been stripped of:

right the wrong
i rock therefore i am

and instead contained:

da bang
empty room
and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

I actually liked it as a whole. It sounded like an appropriate follow up to The Gold Experience, and had a lot of the same feel to it. One thing unusual about it is that it didn't have a lot of love songs on it. I wish I could have seen some music videos from it. Maybe someday...

It was a throw-away album, his last with WB, so he threw it together and really didn't give a shit about it.

still doesn't take away from the music...too many times people say C&D isn't worthy because Prince didn't care about it...SO WHAT !!! it's still a very cool album

Agreed! It seems like he put the minimal quantity of music (just enough songs) on his "throwaway" albums to simply fulfill his contract, but the quality of the songs are top notch.
