Hit 'n Run Tour, April 25,2001, Salt Lake City
I didn't take my eyes off of him once. Not once. Too bad I was too damned far back. Still, a most enjoyable night! I went out and bought everything of his I could get my hands on. My collection was about half complete before that night. I've always loved him,got my first Prince tape for my 15th birthday. My sister's boyfriend gave me 1999. I've been in love with him ever since (Prince, that is, not my sister's boyfriend, although as I remember, Kevin was pretty hot...)

The first time eye saw P was in 1983, "the 1999 tour" it was amazing. Eye really didn't get a good look at him cause my seats were so damn high-up but his performance just blew me away, especially when he performed the song International Lover, baby had a bed rise-up from the stage and let's just say he got a little freaky! Damn eye wish eye could go back 2 that nite!

Jam of the Year tour on December 27, 1997 @ the Palace of Auburn Hills in Detroit. 4 it 2 be my first Prince concert, it was a cool experience. I was in the 10th grade and me and my then best friend went. I thought it was the best thing I had ever witnessed, but a year later after seeing and hearing numerous bootlegs of his concerts, mainly Parade-Lovesexy, I felt like I was short changed. He has set such high standards 4 himself with his concerts that I've heard or seen since then, that concert is my least favorite now, though it will always stick out in my head as the first time I seen him in concert, as well as his first words as he hit the stage... "OOOHHH Detroit, ya'll in trouble!! Yall gone get that ass kicked 2nite!!"

Jam of The Year On January 13,1998 in Tampa.
But I had tickets to see him in Fort lauderdale in either 93 or 94 and something happened I couldn't go.

I had been to many concerts, but this one was one of the most exciting I had ever been to.

I have liked Prince since 1983 but he didn't even come to
my hometown until 1998.

I regret not seeing a lot of the tours.

Purple Rain. I was so taken with the Man and his awesome Guitar Playing. It was great dressing up like the Revolution seeing Prince prance around and Brag about having the Best Ass while he sang How Come U Don't Call Me? It was Fun 2 watch him stroke the Guitar and have water shoot out;and throw Lavender Bras and panties at him. He actually handed me a Purple Tambourine. I was in Heaven.

First time was the Nude Tour, 1990 at Wembley Arena, London. I actually left feeling really deflated because the show didn't live up to my expectations. It didn't help that the seats were halfway back the arena. However I went back a few days later with seats much closer to the stage. When I saw Prince do those splits all was forgiven!

That was one heck of a show! Did you go to the afterparty at The Roxy? That was also quite incredible! I met most of the NPG, as well as Mayte and Larry Graham at that show!

1983 at 1st Avenue, Prince walked through the crowd from the stage to the soundboard. He wasn't wearing a shirt and as he passed us my brother patted him on the back then turned to me and wiped his hand on my face and said here, have some Prince sweat!

My first time was in January of '97 the Love4oneanother Tour me and my sisters traveled to B'ham cause we thought he would never ever come to Mobile and do a concert, that very same year he came to Mobile on Halloween night. But my first experience seeing him in concert was great. He stood behind the stage teasing us by singing, we wanted him to hurry and come on stage. This was general admission so we stood outside for four hours so we could be at the stage we did manage to get like five steps away from the stage we were able to see all his facial expressions it was great it was a dream come true for us. And to see him twice in one year was great also. Haven't seen him since though.sad
Can't wait til he tours again.

April 1997, Richmond, VA.

Got a front row seat 'cause someone in the front row recognized me as a member of the Prince Fanzine and snuck me up front.

I was 7 mo pregnant and a bodyguard wouldn't let me put my feet up on the stage stairs, but it was a great anyway!

1983, the 1999 tour with The Time & Vanity 6:

I actually quit my job to go to the concert, they wouldn't let me have the night off, I didn't get tickets because everyone said Prince don't sell out. Well he did and I didn't have any tickets, The night of the Show it poured like Noah's Ark, I lived 35 miles away and drove anyway saying they will have tickets. The line was 100 yards long to buy tickets but it was sold out, Just when I was about to give up I noticed 3 people debating over who should go see the show, they only had 2 tickets, so I offered to settle it for them and paid them $40 dollars for the two tickets and they gave them up. I had never seen Vanity 6, and was in for a surprise, sexy, sexy, sexy. Then the Time came on and blew the crowd away, I said to my Wife, There is no way that Prince can out do what we just saw by the Time. Well he made a liar out of me, He tore the roof off the sucker. He jumped off a speaker from the balcony and landed like a cat, and finished the cord in How come you don't call me anymore with out missing a beat. I've been hooked every since.
How you gonna get my back when you fronting.

1993, the symbol tour (I think--I was just really getting into Prince then), Richmond, VA...I bought purple velvet pants just for the show. smile I remember loving the fact that so many different kinds of people were attending his show--black, white, young, old, rich, and poor. I realized then the power of his music--how it's able to bring people of all walks of life together, even if it's just for one night. The concert rocked my world.
