PrintableJust because the warning has been sounded for years now does not make it any less imminant, indeed the opposite is true. If you hear a hurricane is approaching, the warning is not going to come the day before it hits, it is sounded and you get more notices the closer it gets. This world is like a pregnant woman, it can only have one outcome, it's not going to get less pregnant. The same is true with the end of the wicked systems that control our planet now. They have to go to restore peace and prosperity to our human society. I'm glad you love life and you should be thankful for everyday we live. But, that's the point. If you love life, don't just love this minute existance we have experienced since the rebellion in Eden, put yourself in position to experience the real life...life that does not end. And not in the nasty conditions we are acustomed to now, no, under the fair and just rulership of God's government. Where no resident will say "I am sick" and where death is conquered and mankind's current problems are a thing of the past. In other words, in God's due time, we will be living on earth the way it was origially purposed to be. So, don't be like the ones Jesus fortold. Having the prevalant attitude of most. He said it would be just like the days of Noah, where most did not take note until it was too late. Yes, there will be an end to the present conditions, But millions have the opportunity to choose to live through this tribulation to come and have the unique privledge no other humans have ever had...to NEVER HAVE TO DIE. Yes, the end does not have to mean our demise. We all have a choice in the matter. Will we choose wisely, though? Will we accept the invitation to take life's water free? Dude, I'm just taking it day by day!!! I can't get into the religious stuff, sorry. I belive in God, I'm thankful for life, but I can't live day to day thinking that God's timetable is going to run out.
I understand what you are saying, and in some cases appreciate what you are saying. It's just not my thing. | |

That's cool, Carrie, and thanx for at least trying to hear what I'm saying. By no means am I trying to force religion down your throat. All I'm saying is keep your eyes open and have an open mind to these things. When I talk about God's timetable, I'm not saying that is the end of us or it is something to dread. You sound like that is what you're hearing when I say that. I'm not saying that at all. God is going to do away with all the crap we hate. Those of us who want to see all that stuff go away and want to see what the real life is all about, those are for whom God's message has import. Forget all this stuff you see going on in the world's religions today and in the past. It is all a design to keep us confused and disgusted with the whole mess. Talk to God. Pray to Him and ask Him for understtanding. Go to the source. If you do this and honestly believe you will receive it, you will. It is promised that you will. And God cannot lie. It just seems that your preconceived thoughts on religion are keeping you from God and his truth. Not that this is not common. I've seen it time and time again. But it is a travesty, because you are missing out on what God wants you to see. So, just do yourself a favor. Keep taking it one day at a time, as you said, but don't lose sight of the future you can be a part of either. If you want to enjoy the real life in the near future without all the problems and things that plague us as humans now, you know what the first step is. You deserve to be there as much as anyone else. But if you are quite satisfied with the world the way it is in its degenerated state etc, then that's your choice also. I just don't like seeing people struggle without that hope when the answers are right there to be had if only you want to.
