Take A Look Out Your Window

Our World Is Falling.Nothing but evil out there.People mean mugging(dirty looks).Bombing and killing all over.Corporate scandal after scandal.I realized that if i wasn't part of the solution then i'm part of the problem.I will try 2 refrain from being negative or insulting toward others in the org.2 anyone i've insulted or was rude 2 u have my deepest apology.I'm starting anew and wish 2 make things better.I will still give my opinions on prince music and actions,i will just try not 2 be so negative.DANCE THE DANCE ELECTRIC!!!

kisses That's lovely. I think if I can befriend myself and be kind to myself and give love to myself, then that's how I will be more inclined to treat others. I'm working on it.

I have children and that's part of the reason for my change.
I have had a great life.I want to make it better for the next generation if i can.And the first step is me and the things around me.Then i can branch out.

i think that the toughest part about changing,
is admitting to yourself that you have been wasting alot of time

THANK U-You hit the right nerve! I used 2 have that feeling
but when things turn out 2 be right, you won't have 2 worry about past times AT ALL. You're just focusing on 2DAY and 4get about the yester becoz what was done, was DONE we can't change nothing about that.

The only problem is involving yourself around people because if you are not alone/chilled/studying etc, your watching people on television, your talking on the phone with a person, or your working with people around and the list goes on... I know now that there isn't any better lover than yourself.
Even though that I may appreciate time alone to myself if I were to had picked a person to hang around with me for 24 hours or so I would pick a soul mate.

Totally agree. It's then like once the love affair with myself had started, I forgave myself for things in the past and the moment by moment new relationship with me, beating up on myself doesn't even come into the equation. Hundalasiliah!

Whenever i see any politician making laws to 'protect the children'...to me that almost always translates to another part of our First Amendment right of free speech being taken away in order to 'keep the children safe'. For example: The internet is an online 'city' of sorts, i feel, a city in which the people should be free to do or say as they please without causing any harm to anyone(words, as powerful as they can be, really pose no danger to any one person or group). There are many groups, including factions of our government who want nothing more than to shut out peoples' harmless ideas, thoughts and passions in the name of 'safety'.

Just recently, the attorney general, fbi, and other law enforcement groups have been given full access to hack into anyone's website, private emails, chat groups, basically any transmission from one person to another without the need for 'probable cause' or a judge's approval of a search warrant.

It's all very ironic, because most kids i know don't get as offended as many adults do when they hear or see something that is normally only directed at the adult demographic.
Many times just the opposite, no reaction at all.
Most 0-10 yr olds' have no concept of what sex is, for instance, and have no idea what is occurring if in the presence of any type of sexuality, and thus are oblivious to affects many adults think are occurring.

Don't get me wrong, i fully support the physical, emotional, and mental well being of children, but i tend to disagree with the way people(politicians esp) attempt to legislate their morals on me, that somehow seeing or hearing 'bad' images will have a negative effect on them- when i feel this is the parents' duties as parents to guard their child as they see fit from outside influences and harm, AND in a sense, any particular politician is assuming he/she knows what is descent enough for me, as if they know better than i.

peace.

The view out my window is of about 7 toddlers playing on a playground. One of them is having trouble getting her bright pink sweater on (it's upside down and twisted) big grin

There's another who has on a little green dress with matching bloomers lol

As an avid student of the Bible, I along with millions of others have been pointing this out for some time now. Some call us paranoid and say it is nothing new, just as the Bible prophesied some would say. Others, like you, are well aware of the terrible state of affairs our human society is in. We have been on the brink of self-annihilation for years, greed and dishonesty has become so commonplace that we have enough food on our planet to feed everyone with enough to spare, and yet 1/5 of the planet is starving to death with over 1/3 of its population going to bed hungry every night. Wars have claimed hundreds of millions of lives in this past century alone. Crime is unfettered. Within a few years' time, we may not even have enough safe water to drink. All these things have been coming to a head in this generation. The sooner people wake up and realize everything is not ok and it is not someone else's problem, the sooner maybe more people will realize the only hope for mankind is what Jesus said, God's Kingdom. We need to choose now to live under this righteous government. If not, we are telling God we prefer the life that this debased world offers and may just suffer its fate. God wants as many as possible to live in the restored earth under his Kingdom ruled by Jesus. Show him whose side you are on.
This world doesn't have much longer. God's timetable does not falter.

I'm glad you have your faith, but my uncle has been telling me the world is going to end for years now!!!

Each night I'm thankful for another day of life. I appreciate it. God's timetable may run out, and you may get hit by a car tomorrow...
