I have been following Jamie for 15 years and I love his stuff but I just don't feel his stand up. When host shows and does bits he's cool but a long stand up show... A lot of actors/sings/groups are the same way. Some sound better live or in drama movies...you know. This was funny - thanks for sharing.

Ha! i remember this. This was one of the only times that I've liked Jamie's stand up.

You know, some of his best stuff is when he imitates other singers. At the end, he's seated as the piano and he did a mean Prince. He couldn't do Luther so well, I remember, but I liked his Prince.

Jamie has a unique talent. Instead of trying to be taken as a real singer, I thought he should do a musical stand up, just make songs as jokes and combine his talents.

I watched this with my boyfriend last night, and he can TOTALLY relate! I recently rented the Rave concert DVD, and my boyfriend watched it with me. He couldn't explain why, but after watching the concert, he admitted that he felt a little "something" towards Prince. I think it was the long hair, glittery eyeshadow, and the body suit that did it. For whatever reason, Prince uses what would be considered "feminine wiles" to woo women, and sometimes it works on men. We also watched Grafitti Bridge, and every time Price looked directly into the camera (with his victimized puppy eyes) my man shifted in his seat! Only Prince could do that!
