Thieves The remix of Thieves in the Temple, the 12" inch remix, is just a freakin awesome track. I got the Ultimate collection, love Pop Life anyway, great to have this on picth perfect quality along with all the remixes, but just blown away again having not heard the remix of Thieves for years.
Shame it came from such a mediocre album, that is one killer remix. The drums stuff is wild. Any further comments? What is this song actually about though? God? Peace out

...ooh, and what about that Michael Hutchence-esque vocal on the extended part where he lowers the register of his voice and sings
I'm holdin' on (holdin' on) the best that I can Love, please Let me be the better man Better than the ones who wanna count me out Better than the ones who don't know what my love's about I'm talkin' 'bout the kind of love that can move a mountain The kind of love that can part the sea... The whole second half sounds improvised vocally. But it's still a fun blast "who got the party who got the party who?" I love the little accordian moment u hear during that part.

Yes, I think the remix video / song is fantastic and one of my favorite. Other great songs from the GB cd are ? of u and joy in rep. and Elephants and flowers. Some funky music but I just watched the film last week for the first time in years. Hard to get thru it all. The best part thru the whole has to be Morris Day and the Time. There are so natural. Love the part when Morris and Jerome are trying to pick up Aura and Morris is posin by the porsche.
That whole scene and lines kills me. "
