Prince used to have some slammin beats up until a couple of years ago. What happened? His lyrical content has remained excellent. He has always been a head of the game. I just missed those funky psychodelic beats along with those smooth and bluesful guitar riffs. It seems like most of his guitar playing is either too bland or way too distorted. Don't you miss the days of songs like Mad, Johnny, pink cashmere, i could never take the place of your man,etc. I would like to see a Prince tour of nothing but B sides, remixes, and unreleased stuff. I love purple rain and the like but I've been to over 20 concerts over the past 27 years, I would like to hear some other classics of his. Call it the "Prince on a Funky Binge Tour" He is still the Greatest of all time. But Prince, Please Funk it up a little bit, Put some sauce on it.
