prince remake of ONE OF US ANYBODY notice the guitar strum in the chorus of one of us when he does it .how timely and well crafted it is just to add that slight touch to the song.i've always though this was one of the most lyrically crafted songs i have heard and very well though out. How far is heaven is also a great song I love god like lyrics to songs without the gospel music. stickman | |

One of my favourites from Emancipation. If i hadn't read the liner notes and seen it was a cover i would never have known. It sounds so much like one of his own tunes. Fantastic, sing out loud, beautiful guitar work track. "Playing hard to get is getting hard to play". | |

The live performance on the Emancipation special back in 1996 was awesome. The only thing that conspired against its success was that it (Joan Osbourne's version) was released just a year or so prior to Emancipation "Old man's gotta be the old man. Fish has got to be the fish." | |
