prince was supossed to play on claptons crossroads concert rember crossroads guitar festival from 2004 .(joe walsh,santana,clapton,larry carlton steve vai,john mayer,eric johnson ,bb king and many others)
well i found jeff beck interview from 2003,he talked about the possibility of him ,clapton and prince playing together on festival.eric clapton also said that he invited all the guitar players he ever wanted to see on stage but it didnt happend.why? | |

I'm always surprised when I see him perform with others as it's so unlike him. I was shocked he did the whole George Harrison tribute at the RRHOF. [Edited 8/14/06 12:22pm] oh no...he is shy...ive seen it up close. when he isnt the center of attention (ie his show...his party..him receiving an award) he clams up... and actually, a lot of stars have confessed to this same type of shyness...its when they are performing when they feel comfortable with attention. they are always talking about it on Inside The Actor's Studio. Im always amazed at how someone line Julia Roberts can be intimidated when meeting someone like Sidney Poitier (which she was)...it means they are human. Space for sale... | |
