I like to think so. I was reading someone's thread about how they're getting married today and it brought me back to the day I tied things up with my girl.

I've been a crazy Prince fan since '88. He inspires me in so many ways and to a certain extent all of my friends and family think of him and me synonymously. So get this: in 2003, my girl and I were going to get married and we hadn't picked a date until we went to hire a band for the wedding and they asked us what day we wanted to get married. My girl and I look at each other and say, "we're thinking the first saturday in june" And the band manager goes, "So June 7th?" My jaw dropped. Prince's birthday? Are you kidding me?

Of all coincidences...but then I started thinking, do all things happen for a reason? are things really meant to be? I like to beleive they do. Even if at first I can't figure out why somehting happens, later on it will usually occur to me and I'll be like "oh, that's why it happened." Anyway, I started this thread to see if any of y'all have ever had crazy Prince coincidences or other stirring moments that just seemed to fateful to be mere coincidences. Let me know. I'm interested in hearing them.

by the way, our first dance was 'Forever in my life' and my wife and I are still going strong today. What if we would have played 'gotta a broken heart again' as our song (j/k)

I think, like horoscopes, you see what you want to see.... If you want to see fate you see fate, if you want to see coincidence, you see coincidence, and if you want to see randomness, that's what you see too.
