Just because it was released to to the club after the JW conversion does not mean it mean he recorded it that year
perfect example is Madrid 2 Chicago, which a sample of available in 99, but it wasn't fully released until 2002, Prince says pussy, probably one of the last songs P uses an obscenity
so most of the songs released to the club from 00-03, were from pre-JW era

After the JW sanitation, P leaned more towards romanticism and monogamy rather than Rabid oral sex addictions, and grinding black pepper...
and does not use obscenities...
so he hasn't made a sexual explicit song, in over half decade

He might not have been "officially" a JW, but he was certainly practicing. You cite the "Rave" era, a time period in which he moved Larry Graham and his family to Minneapolis so that they could study the New World Translation of the Bible together. Prince, during this era, was handing out Watchtower and Awake magazines from the stage.

Not true. The vast majority of the songs released in this time period are from AFTER he had been practicing. Exceptions include "Mad", "Funky Design", "S&M Groove" "Habbibi", "Instrumental", "Van Gogh", "Splash", "Breathe", "Madrid 2 Chicago" & "Rebirth of the Flesh". He was regularly attending studies, and frequenting Kingdom Halls, during the recoding of the vast majority of the songs from this era. Most of the songs released in 2001 were from the aborted Peace and High albums, which were post-JW. Keep in mind, he may not have been baptised until 2002, but he was certainly practicing since 1998. Also note, The Rainbow Children was recorded prior to his baptism as well



I never said he had made a sexually explicit song, I said he still sings about sex. Yes, since he became a JW he has ceased to use profanity, and has leaned more towards a monogamous view of sex, but he still sings about it. All the songs I mentioned are about sex, or make reference to it, and have come about since he became a Witness. Sure, it isn't explicit anymore. People have bitching on this board about his toning down of his sexual image since New Power Soul first dropped

How long have they NOT been a couple?

I feel bad for her. Things must've been really really rough for her to be the one to call it quits. OR maybe Prince dumped her but ain't wanna dirty-up his new image by being the one to file for the divorce. He probably told her, either you file or you get nothing.
