I know many of you will assume me to be a disenchanted "fan", but these days I'm liking less and less about prince. He seems to me to be a man with many many ego issues, confused, manipulative, and all sorts of ugly. A shame really considering what I once thought of him.

I like the fact that he has members of his fanbase who will all too frequently start threads titled just "Prince" without adding any other information regarding the actual subject of the threads. This unfortunate title draws other gullible posters and readers, like me, to click on the thread only to discover that the actual subject of the thread is one covering territory that has too often been tread.

I'm not trying to deter you from your feelings, I just think you should spend your time doing something that's enjoyable to you. I mean I'm not a fan of the current Administration but you wouldn't find me on a Republican website bitching about how fucked up I think they are. That's just counterproductive.

Instead of doing that, I spend my spare time making sure that people who aren't registered to vote, get registered and will have their behinds at the polls on election day. See the difference?

Your bitching won't change Prince or how anybody else around here feels about him. Find someone or something that does bring you enjoyment. Life's too short to be spent unhappy, especially since you're the only one responsible for making you happy!

i like his ability to walk the Earth and still tune out the whole world at a drop of a dime....

His music isn't fake like so many artists today.

I like how he makes music that can help heal hurt feelings or at least aid in a better understanding or different viewpoint of all that's f'd in our world.

As I wrote in another topic... I like the fact that Prince was always able and brave 2 reason with his own mind. His music is simply but genuine and full of passion. Prince speaks with music, it's his whole world (i can understand him).
I like the way he jams... I like his warm, sexy voice...

I consider Prince as one of my music teacher and a good example 2 follow 4 musicians...
