The Funk Bible: what do you think was the intended name of "Something by Somebody" If the so-called "Black Album" was to be entitled "The Funk Bible," then where is the title tune? Any1 ever hear "The Funk Bible" and if so where can I cope it? My vote is "Rock Hard In A Funky Place" and second place is of course, "Too Sexy" La, la, la

I don't think that was going to be a song name.
The Black Album, aka The Funk Bible, was just a statement, shutting up the critics saying he lost his Funk. I suggest you do some research on your own...Uptown magazine is good start. And some clarity to your question as a thread title...

Most people don't know that there is a hidden track on the Black Album (first pressing only). It's between the first two songs. The song title is "The Black Album". If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

OK... here some research for you to do: name a single Prince album excepting his two self-titled albums that don't have a corresponding song on them. And, of course, he at some point has released corresponding songs to his name(s) as well. "Lovesign" and "My name is Prince." [This message was edited Thu Aug 8 11:40:18 PDT 2002 by kmc] La, la, la
