"Sexuality" - Off of Controversy. This is a song that I personally love, but wouldn't play too soon in the introduction.

I find that once I find what type of music a person likes, I can always get them to see Prince in a different light based upon their known preferences. Once I plug them up, they are amazed at what they'd been missing for years.

Jazz type, Rock type, funk type, neveau soul type...hey I got 'em and once they hear it, they are like little kids in a candy store wondering which treat I'll give them next!!!

On topic - what's your favorite Prince song that you don't think most people can handle?

Good one, but like u said, there are so many different types of music to Prince that something will always suit or offend any given human being. It all depends on the person I'd say, I cannot pick out a song in general.

In fact, the only convert I know who doesn't complain about any P songs is my dog - look out for a funny anecdote about him and Prince's music in the days to come.

It would have to be Anna Stesia. It takes a mature, well developed muscial palette to comprehend much of Prince's work after this Lovesexy. The Rainbow Children is also music for grown folks. Unless I knew the person I was introducing to Prince had an advanced musical vocabulary, I would go with the easily accessible hits first.
