By now after 2 pop albums Musicology and 3121, I hope Prince makes another album more musically challenging and exciting. Not another "Rainbow Children" per se, but acoustic album, something he hasn't done before.

I'd just be happy with another album at this point. I know we've been spoilt over the years, but I'd got used to an album a year or more. Okay, we had 3121 this year, but over-all this last few years it seems like things have reduced to a snail's pace, which is a shame for someone who has so much material unnecessarily sitting in a vault. You keep hoping that something big is round the corner - but this recent silence is getting to me!

Of course, he has released 2 mostly acoustic albums, The Truth on guitar and One Nite Alone on piano. Kinda the trouble with Prince, he's done it all, makes you wonder if he knows which direction to go in next.

I'd look forward to another concept album, but something closer to Rainbow Children as opposed to

2 "pop" CDs a decade is enough
