Prince to headline SuperBowl XLI

Prince will be the halftime headline performer at Super Bowl XLI in Miami on February 4th, according to E!Online.com.

The Legendary Cirque Du Soleil has been rumored to perform at the pre game show.

CBS has been in the middle of controversy with this entertainment event since Janet Jackson's infamous "wardrobe malfunction" at halftime of the 2004 Super Bowl.

The network was fined $550,000 from the FCC because of the stunt and has appealed twice to overrule the decision.

Prince was recently in the news when it was announced that his second wife, Manuela Testolini Nelson, had filed for divorce in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The couple married on December 31, 2001.
