The one thing that has annoyed me for years is his choice of the singles he releases from his albums. Nearly all the singles he has ever released are not the best songs off the album and when they bomb (as they normally do) i get annoyed that the general public, i.e. those who don't normally buy Prince albums don't know what they're missing and it gives people the wrong impression. They judge his music by his lame singles when his album tracks and b-sides are often so much better. I just know he could have had a much, much more popular, money-making career had he chosen stronger single releases.

Did you mean to ask "What's Prince's Worst Defect?" or "What are Prince's Worse Defects?", i.e., those that are worse compared to other defects of his. Depending on your meaning, my answer varies.

He is too aloof and selfish, come down to earth Prince!!!!

This is a common crticism of him, but at the same time it's funny that when people start saying what songs they think should have been singles instead of what he chose you get a million different opinions with very little agreement.

There are singles that he's released that I hated that did well.
There are singles that he's released that I love that flopped.

At the end of the day he's had more than his share of hit singles, so it doesn't matter that much to me.
