Prince is known for his unpredictability and questionable decisions regarding his musical career, I believe Prince will go on tour (European tour, then American leg), play the Super Bowl, drop one more major label album, arena tour, then release non-major label album aimed for the hardcore fans i.e. Rainbow Children, N.E.W.S, and take a hiatus for a few years. Dude is very competitive, but also has a lot of creativity that would be better put out via independent label, internet. For the last album, another concept album with an experienced band with chops not like the band he has with anonymous musicians.

However Prince wants 2 do this is just fine with me-I never second guess his decisions,and I'm always satisfied with whatever he chooses 2 do! U Rule,Prince!

funny, you mention his unpredictability and then go on to predict the next year of his career -- no matter tho... interesting thoughts. i think Prince will enjoy his life a lot more if he just writes and performs whatever and wherever he likes -- forget competition and trying to play or beat the industry.
