What's your favorite Prince album cover? Mine's the same as my all time favorite album...Sign 'O the Times for it's sheer uniqueness. It fit's the music on it perfectly in my opinion. Also,photo shop experts, please create a cool alternate album cover for any and all albums you'd like....

I can't believe none of you has mentioned Sign O The Times -- now THERE'S an iconic album cover that really captured the essence of the set.
Although I'll agree that basically any album from 1978 to 1989 had merit for great cover art -- from then on out it's been patchy at best, perhaps with the exception of the photography for The Hits collection. "Dirty Mind". Everything about the album is pure attitude. I love the front picture and the back picture and one of my alltime favorite pictures is the one in the inside cover with the band. Even the other side of the inside cover has attitude with the "old typewriter" type font. Andy is a four letter word. | |

1999--it's like getting a glimpse into Prince's mind through his artwork. Around the World in a Day b/c I love how each song is referenced in the imagery. I thought N.E.W.S. was cool too--not the cover so much, but the concept of the packaging. | |
