Who Won? Who won the golden ticket live performance at Prince's house that was plastered all over the 3121 album? Did anyone win? Was there an any news of this?

That was so long ago, but I know that there was a whole thread about it on here . There was even a story on ET about the performance.

As I remember reading about the contest, ony one person actually bought the CD with the golden ticket.Everybody else either won through the website's second chance contest or through their local country's contest.

That's also my understanding of the events unfolding. ONE out of SEVEN CDed tickets were found. Doesn't that mean only 1/7th of the cd's expected to sell by that event were actually sold? I see those "Golden Tickets" CDs all over the place. I wonder what happens when the other 6 are found. Maybe the Ultimate Prince Collectors Item to be sold on ebay. News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so. You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

Imagine how many tickets were found and then tossed by somebody who ripped the CD put it on the digital player and its gathering dust somewhere. I mean, what did the ticket say? Was it so cryptic that nobody could understand it?? I can imagine the scene. Squinting at the ticket. "U B D Luck- E Come 2 C Me at 3121 Street U No D Place Sho Nuf U1! "

Ahh I see now..
So the name of the 1 winner was never published. And only available for 15 days if you requested it. So who actually found a ticket? http://www.3121countdown.com/rules.html

" I'm going to guess zero tickets were "lost", because there was a golden blurb on every CD cover that spoke clearly about the contest. People like contests, and wouldn't throw a vauled item like that away acdentaly. News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
