Great post for a great memory.

I remember being shocked at how pale Prince's face looked due to having so much make-up on. He came out in a long white coat & everyone else was in tracksuits.

I always thought that the reason he came back on & did 1 more song was due to the technical difficulties during 'Gett Off' & he wanted to make up for it. Basically, during 'Gett Off' his headpeace/mic kept cutting out during the song & he was getting pretty pissed off with it.


I was a member of Controversy too - got all the issues from No.1 (when I was 13 years old) right through 'til the end. Eileen Murton is a legend !

Same here got all issues had still have membership card in my wallet !!! Eileen worked so hard over the years but Prince decided to take legal action (I think) against the club and the club was closed. I think Eileen washed her hands of all things Prince
