Which do you think is better? Just curious?

I prefer The Hits 2 over the Hits 1

Disc 1 was his G (General as opposed to gangsta) hits for the masses.
Disc 2 was the sexier stuff and it was the first disc to get me into his earlier stuff (I didnt buy 4U thru 2 Controversy until 1994)

But I think Disc 3 is better still, those Bsides rocked.
Also remember it was originally going to be called "The good, the bad and the ugly"

#1 Just for Pink Cashmere along and D&P (that's my favorite ).

Both r great-can't choose 1 over the other!

Yes, you gotta buy it asap, the B-Sides disc is essential (even though they're not the extended versions).

Yes, the B Sides are only available as part of the set. Completely worth it though. I actually bought each Hits album each seperately & then the box set, too when they first came out. But then I gave away my Hits 2 release to a guy that lived upstairs from me in college. Wish I still had it...I'll eventually buy it again (b/c I'm a completist)...
