I know Prince has a lot of celebrity fans. I know Macy Gray was at one of the concerts I went to in Chicago as well as "Theo" from the Cosby show. Anybody else ever go to a Prince concert and see or hear that a celebrity was there? Which concert was it?

There were lots of celebrities at the 1994 Berlin Tränenpalast show, which was sort of an aftershow for his performance at the MTV Music Awards. It wasn´t part of the official MTV Clubnight ticket/event and wasn´t listed on the all clubs access ticket. Many celebrities went to those clubs were some musicians from the awards played but there were also lots of VIPs/celebrities at the Tränenpalast show.

If I recall correctly:

Naomi Campbell ( first standing next to me and then behind me )

Jean Paul Gaultier ( spoke a bit with Naomi )

Herbert Grönemeyer

Ray Cokes ( I´m not really sure though )

Aerosmith

George Michael ( Prince went upstairs and talked briefly with him )

and some other more or less known celebrities.....I wasn´t really interested in seeing them for I was to keen on hearing him play some new stuff at that time.

I've seen Prince at a prince concert.

my very first concert and i was sitting with martha quinn of MTV fame. It was the Lovesexy concert in 88. I was so excited and remember gleefully waving a lighter with her during purple rain.

Sat next to Denice van Outen and behind Dido at the Hammersmith Apollo gig... Also in attendance... LEO SAYER! Though I think I was the only one who recognised him... AND was much more excited about seeing him than either of the other two.

Also, if memory serves... I think David Bowie was at the last "Prince" gig at Wembley Arena... Though memory may not serve.

I sat next to Lady Miss Kier, Jungle DJ Towa Tei and Super DJ Dmitri from Deee-Lite at one gig. I was right next to Lady Miss Kier and didn't notice until the end!

Sat behind Peter Frampton in Cincinnati on the Hit 'n Run Tour and the Black Crows were a few seats down from me at the Fox Theater in Atlanta in I believe January 1998.

there were a bunch of people from american idol at one of the chicago musicology shows i was at. i don't know who any of them are because i don't watch the show, but people i knew were like "oh my god it's blahtina and blahrelle and blahstasia!" and i was all "woo woo, now bring on the preeyonce."

Oh,I met Mico on the Lovesexy tour..not an actual celebrity tho.He sat with me,looked at the tour program,and we talked.When I told him that he looked like Mico,he replied-"U think so?" I wasn't sure if it was him or not,and I kinda gave him the brush-off cuz the only man I was interested in seeing that night was about 2 appear on stage.He told me 2 enjoy the show and left.I was relieved. Lo and behold, when the lights went down and the show started,who pointed me out in the audience but the guy that I THOUGHT was Mico! I camped out overnight 2 buy a ticket,so my seat was excellent. I thought I'd died and gone 2 heaven when he whispered something 2 my sweet Prince,who looked directly at me,waved, and gave me the most beautiful smile I've ever seen! The expression on his gorgeous face was priceless! Mico and Prince played my area most of the night!All the fams in my area knew that it was just 4 me and I actually cried like a baby when the show had 2 end! A memory that I wouldn't trade for anything..xcept Prince himself!

For those of you that were at the HitnRun Tour in Las Vegas (when was that, 2000?) Didn't HALLE BERRY look smashing!?!? I love her to death, I am a HUGE fan of hers and when I saw her and Eric Benet going to their seats, I had to say hello to Halle. She felt my enthusiasm and laughed and said hello back. She is just ravishing in person!! I kinda felt bad for Eric because everyone was saying, "there's Halle Berry!" and completely ignoring him . . . .
