The "Wake Up" at the beginning of Dance Electric and "Beautiful,Loved, and Blessed"....

There are more "wake up"s in the music...seems like we are being urged to wake up...why? While the wake up in Dance Electric in the video appears to depict a primitive scence, it reminds me of when land has fallen and this Earth has changed over 10,000 years ago...where we don't have any type of written record...why have past civilizations fallen...will we fall as we are 2day, if the masses/mass does not wake up?
