2 sure fire vault hits

I believe the following 2 songs from the vaults could still be hits if re-done in a more modern style by either Prince or another artist.

1. Extraloveable

2. All Day All Night

I really think they have potential. They are hard and catchy. Driving rythms.

What do you think?

Best take out the rape references from Extralovable before the video plays on TRL though. smile

Lots of things out of the vault could be hits, if the man himself would still CARE about hits, but he does not. Esp not things from the past.
I think there should be something like The Bootleg Prince Band, like there is a band called The Bootleg Beatles.
Just imagine other people having fun with all those tunes, I tried here in France, but them French musicians are way too lazy...

Well, they SHOULD be hits, but come to think of it - no. Very few of today's hit songs have any drive to them and these two kick like a motherfucker. That's 80's rock at their finest, but today the lazy well-served teens just want to "Hit 'em Up With Style" or get stoned while listening to another aural sleeping pill by the Murder Inc.

...ehm? Rape references?

All Day,All Night was done by Jill Jones.Although she did a good job i don't think the song even made it as a single.
Thinking back Jill had a very nice album that should have had some hits(g-spot included).

I'm sorry, but I just don't think "All Day All Night" is that sure of a hit. "Extraloveable" edited down and without rape references could probably be popular.

Oh yeah, all we'd have to do is go back in time 20 years! It would totally work!

LISTEN PEOPLE: If he didn't do it with "Baby Knows" or "So Far, So Pleased," he ain't gonna chart singles again.

Which charts?

Those songs seem 2 have a certain audience in mind, whereas, "Hot Wit U" would have a different one.

Anyway, P is still topping MY charts.
