Okay, this is the second time I have seem a so called collection of Prince earlier hits. THe attached linked comes from Tower Records. http://www.towerrecords.c...ist=Prince Of course itconfuses the snot out of me because it is titled Ultimate Prince (Remastered). I usually think of remastered as being remixed.

This is Ultimate Prince, the 2CD that was postponed earlier this year. There are already mucho, mucho threads about it so.....

Back in early 06, there was a preliminary tracklist for both discs that was floating around, and that was revised to what you're seeing now, and then the set was cancelled at the last minute. Numerous copies still made it to store shelves, though. But it looks like a proper release is now scheduled.

Actually Ultimate Prince has been pushed back more then 2 times. I was in the lucky few to find the cd set on a walmart shelf. I bought up all they had and then ripped one and sold them on ebay.

It's a good collection.

"Ultimate" is already on sale at www.napster.com they've had the whole album for almost two months now. And YES the site is legal now--cross my heart.

@ .99 cents a track u could get the whole album for under 20 bucks
