Screams of Passion is off the chain, that song did not get enough air play.

It was originally on The Family. That whole album is under-rated.

Not a bad song on it! Their version of "Nothing Compares 2 U" is VASTLY superior to Sinead's, IMHO.

Yes it is a great song! The whole tape is great!
I thought I lost that tape but just found it a month ago and started jumping around the house I was so happy that I still had it! Years ago I even accused my friends of stealing it from me.

That's a good song. I think at the time it was released, it didn't get much airplay because Tipper Gore's prude ass was on her soap box denouncing music. Price happened to be an artist she considered trash.

Back in the day, SoP got MAD airplay on WKYS-93.9 and WHUR-96.3, in Washington, D.C.

It didn't hurt that KYS' Donnie Simpson (of early BET fame, as well) was a huge Prince fan. Shucks, he even used a BET "Video Soul" tape for his KYS show, once.

Donnie was cool.

So, I don't know about other markets, but D.C. got plenty of "Screams," the summer it dropped.

Exactly what I was thinking! In L.A. "SoP" was in heavy rotation, the first time I heard it was on the Original 1580 K-DAY!

I recently ripped the Family LP onto CD - it bumps the Gremlin in 2006!
