Prince fan at local TV station in Maine? I think there’s a local Prince fan who has found a kind of fun way to get Prince ‘out there’ in front of people’s ears…
The local NBC affiliate here in Portland, Maine (WCSH, channel 6) frequently uses Prince tracks as background music when they show sports scores. In recent months, I’ve heard several Prince tracks used, funny thing is, it’s not always ‘obvious’ tracks that are used. Tonight, they used the SNL recording of “Fury” as background music. This same recording was used way back in the week after Prince performed on SNL, before 3121 was even out. | |

Yup... definitely a fan picking the music there. It's a week later and they were just playing "The Word" behind the sports scores. | |

cool. i wish they would do that on the news here in NYC.  I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |
