Ben and Matt worked extremely hard to bring a new and improved org to us,however the content of it lately is disgusting.

I think that the OLD org should be brought back. In the sense that news worthy threads/topics related to Prince and his work had to be sent in to moderators and be approved before being posted. The org members did not have the ability to create new threads about ANY subject matter.

It's a shame that this privelge is being abused. Please don't retort by saying that people should be allowed to say whatever they want. A lot of what is posted on the org is disturbing to some and very objectionable.

The 'approved news' feature is still there, if that's the only part u like, stick 2 it. I agree it's a bit of a downer lately, mayb there's just little news, but i think something could b done 2 keep the right topics in the right forums, and the news-articles back 2 the news section. I don't think any form of sensorship should take place, but it should b made possible to find Prince or music related topics without having 2 shift through lots of fun-threads. Can anyone say: 'bring back the GD forum'?

I support Ben, Kev, n Matt in any choice they make.

It seems to me the old Org was a lot more fun for them.

I was excited bout the New Org. Even telling Ben that the Yahoo Internet award is thiers.

What ruined it?
Starting own threads perhaps...? You can do that on AMP.

In the OLD org, you still had the flame wars.

Hmm, perhaps the best Prince site would be where there was only news reported n random comments were posted (after review)by those people who actually added something.

You take away the threads tho, you take away stuff Like Wellbeyond's heart-wrenching story & certain comments.

Perhaps the threads can be moved away from the start-up page & onto a link on the start-up page to pay attention to the news, not the bull...

Unfortunately Y&B, that is what might be happening. We abused the forums, we all did, and now we all have to pay for it. We need to at least go back and remember why we'e originally here, what made us all come here the first time. For most of us I surely hope it was the music, the incredible talent that Prince puts into his music and that he shares with us. We need to rediscover that which brought us together, we all need to do that.

And it was worse because you had all these news items with long running comments, most of which had nothing to do with the news item. At least now you can mostly steer clear of things that don't interest you.

There really is nothing wrong with the way the org is set up now. The problem is that a lot of people have totally disregarded the TOS rules set forth by Ben & Co.

You can still just check out the news items if the forums bother you that much.
