Lady Cab Driver is a great groove, but one of the weakest tracks on 1999.
Prince is nowhere near the all time great guitar players. I like New Power Soul I like the narration on TRC--I speak along with it. Prince's horn arrangements are one of his music's best features Prince doesn't have a nice or strong singing voice NEWS has some exciting music on it My Legacy

Lovesexy is his worst album in the 80s, its self indulgent and weak.
Graffiti bridge is one of the best, its got a lot of great grooves on it and its weakest tracks are at least listenable unlike certain songs on Come, Emancipation and lovesymbol and (Lovesexy!!!!) Love symbol has a great start and a shit second half Every album between Emancipation and Musicology sucks. Musicology is one of his best albums ever, its one of the most stripped down and authentically black sounding records I have ever heard. I love Diamonds and Pearls. Around the World in a day, sucks except for three songs, Condition of the Heart, Raspberry Beret and Pop Life. Come is an excellent album except Solo. Mayte and Manuela were hos who married Prince for money so he could deflect attention off his homosexuality. Larry Graham and Jehovahs Witnesses have fucked Prince over big time. NPS and TRC deserved never to be released. Chaos and Disorder should have never been released. For You should have charted higher. The superior 3121 singles should have been Number ones especially Black Sweat. 3121 was a good album, but not as good as Musicology 17 Years ago I made a commitment to Prince | |

[b]  Through out the years Prince has had songs we've all enjoyed or not enjoyed...some I just don't care anything for at all, but that is NOT to say that I don't think he is an incredibly tallented muscian/artist...etc.. I know alot of ppl don't care for the Purple Rain era, but during that time in my life is when my b/f ( now hubby) really introduced me to his music and it had a major influence in my life. In my emotions, decisions, so on and so forth. What tickles me the most is that now my teenagers and their b/f's still dig music that Price puts out. (Btw I am not THAT old...lol...less than 40)!! the man I am married to now andI had this terrible auto accident when I was 16, through me from the car and we were listening to When Doves Cry..took me years to be able to listen to that song again...and drive that strecht of road...never the less...Prince is wonderful.. God really blessed him in many ways.  Because of God..we 2 r 1~~Darren & Suzyn forever

Prince's 80s music isnt much better than his 90s stuff
Prince's 90s music is streets ahead of his post-2000 output The music released via the NPGMC Year 1 is excellent and way better than any of his albums since . Prince is only funky live nowadays , on record it sounds forced . Prince's rock sensibility has gone to shit since he became a JW . Chaos and Disorder rocks .
