Actually, actually everyone...you know that Prince has a harem. Uhm hum, and ovcourse, he is going to weed out the good from the bad. But this time, that darling little she devil, and she knows she is, had the inkling that she was going to be weeded out. So she fed the poison to the Prince, before he bit her with the snake. Hm? Hm?HM? No doubt. Heeheheh. How's this for controversy?

Boy, you missed alot,
but the over-all consensus seems to be that the main reason they split was because the needs of the one outwieghed the needs of the Mani.

Hahhaha. That's a good one! Wow. Yea. When you live a pooblic life, it's the needs of many, no doubt!

So just because he's spending his time working, living his passion, she can just file for divorce? I don't think she's mad at him, she doesn't seem like the type. Looking at her, the charity, children, art's and craft, she's such a sweet person... but i guess the fans don't like her and the karma drama is why she's leaving.

Naaa....that's not why beauty. It's because they weren't meant to be. Soul-mates are meant to be. And whatever takes them they are going to have to face one another...that is, soul-mates, you see? But they? They were not meant to be. People don't ALWAYS make the right choices. Sometimes they have anger, hatr3d or jealousy which divides them. But that is out of ignorance. If all things went well all the time, everyone would be with their soulmates. She too, even through her desires to help the poor, in her charity, still, she too is only human. And if she is not taking care of her inner desires, her inner will, she will end up with someone not meant for her correctly. Nevertheless, we all learn lessons out of it. That ought to be haha remembered!

Sadly the courts don't see it that way, in their eyes she would be entitled to half the amount he earned while they were together.

Think of the Musicology Tour alone which netted around 50 million and you'll have an idea of how much she would walk away with.

Jeez, why am I depressed after reading your post?

sorry about that. i guess where my geeking out over prince is concerned, i'm much more interested in the reality of what's going on and what's coming next than i am in the "wish list" fantasy of what i wish were going on. i mean, if i had my 'druthers, he'd be doing an all-acoustic small venue tour, followed by a balls-out album of his favorite songs backed by a full orchestra (with accompanying tour, of course). mr.green

Sorry, I don't come to this forum much, so I feel a little lost. . .are we voting for what P does next here? Because, I want to vote for this.

My vote: what he said.

Thanks.
oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1!

I am sorry but I am so embarrased of everything on this site. I dont attend on a regular basis but what I see and have read so far is so negative and very immature. I can't imagine having a site such as this where ppl get so out of hand. I mean a Part III. How many chances do these idiots get. Im sorry I am normally not opinionated like this but just what if P comes on here to read the reply's or even some of the posts. Dont you find it embarrassing?

See what happens? I go on vacation and those two crazy kids get themselves unhitched. lol
Not really a surprise, but still sad. After the initial pain and drama, I'm sure they'll both be okay.
And on a purely selfish note, I guess a tour is pretty much inevitable since he's now got two ex's on the payroll. dancing jig

no matter what happened, they did not marry only to divorce. i am sad for the union breaking as with any marriage union (legit) divorcing. everyone hurts in it.

Thus the reason I don't believe in marriage.
It destroys relationships.

Next time please put your quote below my post, the first line looks like mine when it is not.

I'm not comfortable with that.

Ok, I don't know if anyone else has said it but I am going to say it.

PRINCE...STOP MARRYING YOUR FANS!

There I said it. Mayte was a fan. She kept mailing him video tapes until she got it. Yea, she is hot like fire but she didn't know the real Prince. She thought she was going to live the Rock and Roll lifestyle and found she was with a Jehova's Witness who wanted her to do what he said.

Manny...another fan! Yes, she is young and hot...but she probably had an agenda too. Now she is stepping. JW's are not supposed to marry again so what is our boy supposed to do now? Life of celibacy?

Look what Paul McCartney is going thru now. You gotta be real picky on who you marry when you are at that level.

Prince needs an equal that doesn't feel threatned by allowing him to be the "head" of the family. Someone who won't make him feel threatened either.

It's loco.

My 2 cents. That's all.

in a truly equal relationship they work as a team
one rules the heart, the other rules the head
hence a successful marriage
they'd both have to be prepared
to let the other do what they do best
and merge their efforts
takes humility and respect
for the responsibility that comes with compatible power
lust for power over another is one of the reasons
many marriages fail

i dont believe the Jehovahs Witness 'religion' holds the key for successful marriages in the new world. in the old world maybe.. but thats over now. x
