Prince should do a tour with just himself, his Piano, and His Acoustic Guitar, in small to medium venues such as 4th & B,4th Avenue, and the House of Blues. Just kick in in his stool like he did musicology style, or at a piano, and talk about how or why he wrote each song. That would be awesome! That to me would be worth the $312.21 price tag that I payed to see him in vegas. The vegas show was alright, but I've been to better, (House of Blues Grammy After Party, One Nite Alone live Kodak Theatre) and an accoustic setting would rock!

I think you're referring to something like the "Art of Musicology" set he did on MTV in 2004.

I was at the small Butter show, which was off the hook. Seeing him perform in a similarly-sized venue just kicking it on the guitar... I have no words.

To be honest, I think he's running out of "ways" to perform. I think he's searching for something fresh. And having to deal with the fact that the more he puts himself out there, the less of a "draw" he becomes. It's a dilemma.
