Im 100% Satisfied with Prince,his music,his looks,his personality...etc
Everything. When I started listening to him back in '95 when I was about 10,even though I didnt understand his lyrics at the time,I appreciated his musical talent and vocal skills. As the years went on and I listened to him more,I grew a passion for him and everything he does. I could go on and on but yes...I am very satisfied! thumbs up!

Ditto 4 me 2.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Speaking as someone who has been listening to his music since my pre-adolescent days. I have to say yes I'm satisfied and yes his music has made me a better person. His music has always encouraged me to be me and not give a damn about who didn't like it and that definately made me a better person!

For the millionth time...Thanks Prince! Thank you very much! hug

do u mean sonically? does his recent work sound 'dull' to the ears? not enough 'spark'? not enough top-end? brightness? zippedy zap?

i think i know what u mean. the song ' New World ' has that 'zap' for me. bright. snappy. urgent. bleeding edge.

musicology was a good attempt, but overall- despite great musicianship and nice warm tones...lacked spirit conviction.

there are moments of zap on 3121..and Tamar, to my ears, has got heart and soul, but no zap.

mayb its to do with levels of AWAKENESS.

whereas if i listen to MJ, even though the musicianship isnt as good as p's, he always has zap. electrifying spirit and urgency.

i look for that in music. something to bring people closer to CRYSTAL CLEAR CLARITY...bionic sonics.....snappy zappy ting ting ting...

i guess the good thing about p's work, is there is warmth and there is zap...depending on how far back you go in his career.

my understanding is that a song is a reflection of a persons state of mind and heart, but also a reflection of their state of CONSIOUSNESS...awake vs. asleep.

his lyrics have made me a better person, but musically, sometimes i zing, sometimes i dont.

yes thats what i mean,as well as the fact the the songs seem a bit too well put together, not enough whim in the music...too focused and formulmatic(did i spell that right)..anyway he has done that b4 but there was still that sonic thing that was always present.it aint there anymore.its flat.emancipation was this way..alot of the songs were certainly text book.but the "zing"was there sonically.
