I was 11 when Purple Rain came out; I was amazed by both it and 1999, the wickedness of them were both quite daring I thought. I didn't have Dirty Mind until a few years later, heh.

Heffa!!!  I had a button like that too, but I don't know what happened to it  . Maybe one of my MJ lovin' friends stole it too  .I used to have a button like this too and I actually just found it the other day. First saw him down south. I thought 'damn this mug is real rock & roll' When he launched into Do Me Baby the girls ate it up. I never thought about his clothes or anything. The Little Red Corvette Video, I thought it looked like some porn thing my kinky ass parents had (I was like 7). I thought this dude was crazy with all the purple, steam, neon lights and shit. But I do remember loving the song, although my Mum said I couldnt buy that type of stuff as its too rude. Heck for a kinky ass ma, she sure kept me in the closet, she didnt even tell me about sex until I was 15, and even then she didnt want me listening to Cream, as shge thought it was about sexual fluids.
