I would like to hear from you all on the topic of LOVE.

But the love I would like to hear about, is the "love" you have for Prince.

I mean, so many people would say they Love Prince, but what does that mean on the individual level? What is it or more exactly why is it you would be willing to say this?

As an Example I give my own.

What is Love for a Stranger, person, idol, popstar? Well what truely attracted me to Prince's Music is that he was singing some of the deepest Spiritual stuff avilable at the time. And at that, I downplay, for it was the deepest.

Without getting too personal, My love for Prince is because throughout my time, all the joys and heartbreaks, tragedies etc that have happened in my life, I could always turn to his music and find solace or happinness.

I haven't had a bad life, but it wasn't easy and the one thing I always could rely on was Princes music.

I can write my life story from Prince's music. He has connected me to my six true friends as well as to "pure happiness" . My first Prince experience was hearing 'Soft and Wet' on the radio. I called the radio station (WBMX now WVAZ) and asked them to play 'Soft and Wet' by The Silvers. They told me it was not The Silvers, but this young guy called Prince. It wasn't until four years later that I discovered Prince was writing a lot about sex (such a sheltered life I lived).

The more people didn't like Prince, the more I loved him. I had to defend Prince in high school, ready to fight for "my man's integrity" when it came to his genius as a musician. Of course, the fight was with the Michael Jackson "Thriller" fans.

I enjoy dissecting Prince's lyrics and the music. I have introduced so many people to Prince's music because I wanted them to hear the genius in him.

If you ever have the opportunity to stand in Prince's presence, you would be amazed at how calm your energy becomes as you feel the creativity flow from him as he sits back and observe his surroundings.

Why I love Prince's music? Well alot different!
His music has touched me on many levels, from smile to tears!
He has cast a shadow over the musical landscape which will last for years!!!
Few a musician can shake your soul, rock your bones,
until your heart is full, and moans....
What he does outside the public eye, no one owns!
I wasn't tryin' to rhyme but that's what the music of Prince condones!
