"Joy in Repetition" = Heavyweight song! (I'm known as "SheSaidLoveMe" on this forum for just that very reason...classic in every sense of the word!!!)
Throw in Anna Stesia, Adore, The Morning Papers, She Gave Her Angels, Purple Rain, Why Don't You Call Me, Nothing Compares 2 U, It's Gonna Be Lonely, and Free the next time you are listening to JIR!!! End it with "Still Would Stand All Time"...promise you - you'd feel the absolute power that music has on the human soul/nature. I Wish Everyone Heaven!!! SheSaidLoveMe "Love is God, God is love

I just created my own Prince-only version of Graffiti Bridge...Changed name of CD to New Power Generation Since GB isn't anywhere on the CD (obviously).
1) New Power Generation (Remix) - I love the beginning of the remix version. "All there really angels, or are they just our mind?" Great intro track. 2) I Can't Stop... 3) Release It (one of 2 non-prince songs). This is such an awesome tune. 4) Question of U 5) Elephants & Flowers 6) Joy In Repetition - Agree with ya Supa...incredible tune! Why he didn't release this as a single back in the day is beyond me. I think it would have done really well. 7) We Can Funk, 86 version - always liked this version WAY better than G Clinton version. 8 Thieves In The Temple (Remix) - Never a fan of album version...this one is much more complete and 2nd half is slammin. 9) The Future (remix) - Curve ball here I know..but I always loved this one and it just seemed to fit 10) Still Would Stand All Time - nice quiet tune after The Future. Beautiful song. 11) The Ryde Dyvine - Another curve ball..but put it in for the same reason as The Future. Other "non-prince" in a way. Isn't Sonny T singing and Prince is in the backround? Not sure maybe someone can help me on that one. 12) New Power Generation Pt 2 13) The Grand Progression - He should've left this one in..best song from that period imo. Took out Tick Tick Bang...I always thought that it was a stupid song...the lyrics are just dumb as can be...flame me all you want on that one..just my opinion. So there you go... One of my faves from Graffiti Bridge is ~STILL WOULD STAND ALL TIME~ . It to me is the essence of Graffiti Bridge.
For HE [GOD] will STAND ALL TIME!! (p.s.)- I've had alot of Non-Prince fans say to me they don't like the latest album 'cause "Now he wants to be about GO." But Prince always has been, just not all the time. Didn't mean to ramble just wanted to mention it. Imperially Yours,
