Art exhibition featuring Prince drawings (2003) Hopefully this hasn't been posted previously... Check out this cool installation by artist Sarah Doyle, featuring drawings of Prince:
Note the Lovesexy duvet cover. A detail of the drawings: (There seems to be an Egon Schiele-sque quality to the drawings; which is interesting, imo.) Here is the link to the gallery(?) website--it has a bit more info about the exhibition and the artist: http://www.purestarproduc...club1.html (Too bad the show was in 2003, I'd have loved to see those drawings up close!) The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

i remember a friend of mine back in 1992 used to have his room
plastered with all these calendar images of Prince, just like this room but it was all pictures. pretty cool. everywhere you would look there would be prince pictures. personally, i don't think i've ever had more than 1 prince pic or poster up at a time. the last 10 years none. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps
