Prince is the greatest to me. He helped an insecure 13 year old girl realize that it's ok to stand out, and that not fitting in is how you change the world. He also influenced me to become musician, and not just a singer. I went on to get a music degree in college, and I've always wanted to thank him for his inspiration. Actually, I did TRY to thank him when I saw him on his ONA tour, when he came to Seattle. I saw him as he was coming out of the theatre, and heading to his limo. Of course tons of people were standing around, shouting, and his body guards were blocking our view. Just as he was about to get in the limo I screamed (louder than I ever have before) "YOU CHANGED MY LIFE!!!" I can only hope that he heard me. Wanna hear me sing? www.ChampagneHoneybee.com | |
