Playing other people's music... As I was cycling home from work today I began singing "Let Her Down Easy" by Terence Trent D'Arby, off the Symphony or Damned album... and I got to thinking, "Wouldn't it be great to hear a Prince version of that song... NO! Wouldn't it be great to hear a Prince version of the whole ALBUM... and not just that album... what about Introducing the Hardline, Neither Fish, etc..."
I suppose, what I'm trying to say is, I'd love to hear TTD's back catalogue re-recorded by Prince (and given that Paisley Twist that he does so well). Which other artist's albums would you like to hear Prince re-work? Just for fun, y'know, none of those "Prince should his own thing, m****-f*****! He's his own man" and stuff like that - enter into the spirit of things!

I'd like to hear a version of Off The Wall, I'm not sure about Thriller, it never did that much for me... Could be interesting though.

Yeah, me too. Not much of Micheal fan after Off The Wall... but I'm sure a Prince version would certainly be interesting to listen to.

I would love to hear Prince do some Kiss stuff, I can really see him doing it well. Something like Strutter, Deuce or Firehouse.
I can't place it in my mind but there's a Kiss track that sounds very similar to Endorphinmachine, the way it starts. I'd've loved to hear a Kiss cover done with the '95 NPG or New Power Trio.

Kiss would be cool. There's a band called Eagles of Death Metal, a Josh Homme off-shoot; they're a sort of psycho-rock-a-billy/garage outfit. I would LOVE Prince to cover their work.

I'd also love to hear Prince do a version of a Vernon Reid guitar solo. That would be awesome.

I hadn't even thought of the Eurythmics. What about the other Dave Stewart band, Spiritual Cowboys? A Prince version of their first album would be astonishingly cool.
