Request: Stylized Symbol Tattoo I am getting a tattoo this weekend and am considering getting a stylized symbol. A while ago, one of the orgers posted a pic of their tat and it was the symbol, but very stylized. I can't find the pic anywhere. I don't want to copy it. Just want to see it again, so I can spin something off of it. If you know where that pic is, or are the person with the tat I am talking about, can you post the pic? And, for you other tattooed fans, feel free to post your pics. I'm also considering getting the Lovesexy eye. Not sure which one I'll get though.
Thanks, Greg | |

It's kind of tacky to ask someone to share either their artwork or their original tattoo for you to "spin something off of" without offering anything in return.
Just saying. It's not very considerate. The Normal Whores Club

Just saying. It's not very considerate. Why is it tacky? I told the reason I wanted it and if someone doesn't want to share, they don't have to. You may view it as tacky. Others may view it as a compliment that someone liked their tattoo enough to ask to use it as inspiration. Not trying to start a fight with you. Just curious why you think it is tacky. -G

I just have a lot of friends and family who are artists, and without exception they take offense when someone asks to use some of their work without offering any compensation, whether monetary or otherwise. It's presumptuous. The Normal Whores Club
