Does he put himself on a pedestal or is it that the byproduct of his occupation?
It seems this is more the way that many choose to see him. There's a current thread " What would you do if Prince dumped you? Why is that not a GD question asking "What would you do if a guy dumped you?" I know it's hypothetical and all in fun but, that this response is expected to be different because it's a relationship with a "celebrity" then you've entered it with him on a pedestal. One that you put him on. I believe that he doesn't want to be worshipped/on a pedestal. I don't think anyone could truly enjoy that. me either - not ultimately. it might give u a kick for a while - but that cheap thrill might fade once u realise it makes u a Sleeper. b4 the internet came along - artists didnt really have a choice in how they were marketed... nowadays they do - free of the vanity trappings of the past - and all the transparent hype that creates a godly illusion... mass media 101 - 'how to make false gods' internet 101 - how to get real. imo.
