Months have passed and every song in it is still a gem. Quite an energetic and diverse sound. No lousy tracks like Life O' the Party and Pimp, Coma and Circumstance. Prince delivered what he promised. Prince, keep it funky on the next album. You're the prettyman! Yeay 3121, Yeah!

While I like 3121 very much, it's not one of my favourites. There are some good songs on it but IMHO the only great songs are:

Incense & Candles
Love
The Dance

The others are just ok. I listened to the cd again last weekend and I still enjoy it, but it lacks greatness.

I love the whole damn thing!
I use to skip '3121' and play the rest. But I listen to it now and I can say I love it all.

If I had to pick one fav it would be close between

Incense and candles/The Dance

I love 3121 2! Yet another masterpiece from Prince!

To me, 3121 is one of the most forward-thinking, mature, and consistent albums out there in the world of pop and R&B music today. I love every song on this joint because every song just shines with that brilliance we all know and love coming from the Purple One. It should definitely do better commercially though. It's an improvement over Musicology (a great album, but too poppy).

What do you think of the way Prince sings (would that be what is called delivery?) ? I find that it has a certain creamy sultriness that it is irresistible. His singing was also soothing and sensual in Musicology, but not as zesty.

I really think it's a top-ten Prince album...

This album still kicks my ass and I didn't know if Prince could still do that to me again. I love every song on this. I just wish he put some time into promoting this CD cause it deserved it. Still a great CD and ir's nice to say that for a new Prince CD again.

Yes, 3121 is truly a great album and I think its legs will show as time goes by. The Dance is wonderful and not a single track gets skipped. Thank-you Prince for once again giving me such a treasure.
