To Prince From You..? What have you sent to Prince, through the mail, and what was the responce?

I sent Prince a feeling in the mail. He didn't respond. As a result I was hurt. The recirpocal feeling was as if it were a Dear John. "I am not an animal. I am a human being." ... as recited by John Hurt in The Elephant Man. Elephants and flowers, maybe? I don't know MickG. You be the judge. | |

Sent him my change of address photo of the new house and the kids....
figured he would wanna put it on the fridge at Paisley .... how do I feel about it now ?... I think it was funny and still do.... | |

When I was 18, I sent a letter to Prince via a friend who was to spend the summer in Minneapolis. She had a relative who claimed to have "connections" and could get my letter to Prince himself or one of his staffers. I hated that I was gullible enough to believe this could happen because it never did.
And my passionate letter which spoke of my undying devotion to Prince as his #1 fan was never returned. Then when I was 23, I called the infamous 1-800-NEW-FUNK. I told a very patient customer service rep about how much I loved Prince and  . I figured she would share in my excitement and find a way to let Prince know how much I cared. To my disappointment she put me on hold and I ended up being disconnected.  | |

I sent Prince a love letter quite some time ago, never xpecting 2 get a response.Imagine my surprise when I got some autographed photos in the mail weeks later! I was so xcited and couldn't believe it..How do I feel about it now? Hell, if I had a working address, I'd do it all over again!  | |

For a few years I got some cool stuff through the club. Some of these things very rarely if ever pop up on eBay. | |

*** Some words...I cant remember by now, it was years ago. Why did you send it? *** The last time was 4 ONA music sheets...the other few times it was bcuz I felt it.... What did you think might happen? *** Nothing....I was just hoping Prince read it How do you feel about it now? *** Satisfied the same....Maybe he did read my words, maybe not...who knows? ....truly there R many things sent through the seasons.....this query answers specifically items 'through the mail'..... 1st time = October 24th, 1988 from B 2 Long Island, NY the 'purple package' received a strong vision of concerns N Prince's world  felt compelled 2 speak on....terrified 2 send it N such a public manner considering should it reach anyones hands but his my ass was literally on the line since informamtion 2 reach/find B was given....(the faith 2 do it N this manner was part of the vision)....had a personal moment N Detroit that Halloween confirming he got it...thought it definately would establish clear communication Btween us from then on ~ it didn't.... feel about it now as it is with all "messages" that Creator puts B on a 'mission'....sharing is my responsibility~the one receiving makes their own choices = as we all do....
2nd time = arriving June 7th, 1990 birthday greeting that prompted a phone call response.....as the consistant pattern was Being formed ~ nothing came of it.....still don't retract any of the sentiment shared & would embrace dancing the Dream awake.... later on after others a significant one: October 7th, 1998 ANGELSCU2 a dear friend & Bgan 2 share Dreams N regard 2 Prince's realm & joined on this journey of royal madnesty N August of '97.....the culmination of it brought us 2 a 'Spiritual Dream key'insight/vision....we attempted 2 share this N4 through air mail delivery....we sent it 1:47AM, 1st attempt delivery 10:30AM, 2nd attempt delivery 1:16PM = REFUSED written by (his?) hand, returned 2 us by 7PM that evening....upon reflection understood Y it would B inappropriate 4 him 2 receive this message N the absence of the presence of the friends who sought with good intent 2 share...
...as my friend is telling B now, recognize there is nothing humorous with this response....thank U 4 this cathartic opportunity
