Between Prince's Ealrier Albums&His Side Acts

do you think He Mixed&Recorded the Albums Differently? like for instance do you think He would start the Instrumentation or Vocals differently on a Protege Album differently than His Own or have you noticed anything like that???

I think he produces a song that suits that individual. What might fit Prince's vocal/instrumental style, might not fit another artists. No Doubt for instance, you can hear the 'Prince' in the song, yet at the sametime it still sounds like a No Doubt song.

Prince said in a magazine.. that he listens to his first 4 or 5 albums and he had no clue how to mix..

you can tell..

listen to when he got Paisley Park up and running.. the albums became more detailed..

"Uptown" was a 24 track Mackie in his basement I heard..

but you can see he learned allot from then & now.
