Yeah it is too long but it's not nerdy.
Would be good for an acoustic album and website.

But even with all the different names...3121 too, There should be one hub/umbrella...and it should be branded on everything, and everything should link back to it.

What is this, an attempt at posting the dumbest things ever? Prince's internet history can be easily traced by LOOKING AT THE BOOKLETS of his CD's.

Why would you name your album after a temporary address (3121) then create a (should be) permanent website as 3121.

The house was called the 3121 house, it wasn't the actual street address of the rented property. Prince called the house and the album 3121 because of some hidden meanings.

Do people even know what NPG is? Like if you polled 10 of your friends would they know? Would they know "New Power Generation".

I have a friend that used to be the biggest Prince fan...he didn't know.
I know I must have come across it online during a casual search and I'm sure I passed it by. The rationale: "This can't be his official...his name's not in it."

We need a "poll your friends" thread.

I'm speaking purely as a fan. The general public's perception of what happens with P/web address is a non issue. Besides, most of the general public (unfortunately) could give a rat's ass about the NPGMC shutting down.Although P is synonymous with the NPG label, go in a new direction.

WHat I'm saying is that the name: "NPG this, that, or the other" should be retired. It is played out and should have been put out to pasture. He should make it something more catchy, but memorable. WHatever that is, only time will tell.
